About
Dr Savi is qualified with a number of degrees, inc: PhD, MBA and PGDMS.
Dr Savi�s business background comprises of having worked as a business analyst in the early 1980�s and then serving as IT manager for National Semiconductor�s Corporation and then for Nokia Data.
In 1993 Dr Savi moved to Computacenter plc where he developed a range of management and business methodologies. By 1995 he was promoted to head of the project management division, over the next three years he successfully developed this organisation from 4 to over 100 people. In parallel he developed business standards, ensured profitability and developed both Human Resources and Marketing initiatives. In addition, Dr Savi also developed a mentoring / coaching scheme based on a peer-review mechanism. At Computacenter Dr Savi and his teams successfully programme managed large change programmes for Maryland Bank of North America, London Borough of Harrow, Exxon Oil Corporation, Petroleum Shipping and NatWest Markets, adhering to complex matrix management structures and achieving over $20M in service revenue.
At the same time, working closely with the General Manager and Head of Human Resources Dr Savi developed the organisation’s Core-competency framework and training strategy.
In 1999 Dr Savi was hired by Unisys to Head their 120 person UK consultancy division, winning and programme managing successful major change projects for Railtrack, Essex County Council, Citibank and Credit Sussie. Achieving over $75M in service revenue.

In addition, he has set-up a number of business partnerships.
Dr Savi Arora�s areas of expertise include, effective project techniques, Corporate Podcasting techniques, Marketing, Corporate communication strategies, Social media applications, Matrix Management communication techniques, Financial management, Training Strategy development, IT Best Practice, The potential for RSS, Knowledge Management strategic development, Core-competency Development (inc: a variety of Human Resource Managememt approaches), eLearning standards, eInduction establishment, Business standards and effective audio messaging techniques.
Dr Savi has also taught on Post Graduate Management Diploma and MBA programmes and has been blogging since November 2003!
In addition, Dr Savi runs a regular Videopodcast (itunes link) focusing on business best practice and also an Audiopodcast championing the value of podcasting, social media, best practice management techniques for businesses.
Dr Savi has also appeared on BBC1’s Heaven and Earth show and has been featured on BBC World service Radio.
