Here is a short but informative example of the different websites such as blogTV, UStreamTV, Operator11 etc providing means for you to broadcast audio/video content live on the internet. It specifies one and not all of superior features of each of these websites probably because this example is just a touch of the subject thereby prompting you to explore the websites and look for yourself!
Anyone from anywhere in the world can perform a live show on the internet! - this statement probably know to all of us it surely is an alternative source for people like Erin and Susan who were unable to find distributors for the video broadcasting of their film “Four-Eyed Monsters”. They finally build up their own video podcast to reach their audience and to everyone’s surprise “Four Eyed Monster” is the first full-length movie to be there on YouTube! Isnt’t this an awesome achievement for these two to start their career with?
Jetset live has surely done some good for its publicity by persuading its viewers to visit and quote their comments. Actually it compounds to much more to their identity than adding just the comments!

From: http://iphonefreakz.com/2008/10/01/apple-closing-itunes/ the implication is that there is a risk.
There maybe a number of factors that should be considered:
1. The current state of the download market in terms of total cost of service it relies on.
2. Should there be a separate model for on-line sales?
Clearly, technology moves over time and so does dependable business behaviour. However, business models take time to adjust because organisational models are mapped to them. In the case of the entertainment business it is an irony that music can be innovative, yet many outlet channels relied on are staid.
Last night I was talking to an agent of an up and coming fusion/folk band and it was fascinating to hear his perspective on how inconsistently podcasts are rated. He wondered how some content was being promoted by PR. For example, Sometimes it is difficult to see how selective bands, movies and general entertainment is truly promoted. This is because the market consists of many people/organisations that dependant on each other, e.g: Public Relations, Concert Ticket sales, Commercial outlets and of course the performers and composers/writers - everybody wants a bit of the action.
Downloading via itunes is quick as a click and if offered you can even download the CD cover (Although I still prefer the ascetics of the Album cover).
What all sides need to do before things get out of hand, is to understand practical costs rather than replicating from a traditional models. Its time for a re-think and compromise from all that have a vital part to play!

Content re-purposing has two related elements – Re-use and Remediation.
Re-use refers strictly to the recompilation of existing content into a usable manner. Remediation is focused on revisiting the relevance of available eLearning content. This often leads a pathway of investment in re-development. For example revisiting and establishing:
- Instructional standards
- Refreshed content as it maybe out of date – especially true when syllabuses or course knowledge changes / Or, over time new synergies between course elements is identified as facilitating efficiency. The need to add course prerequisites that are technical and knowledge based.
- The relevance of content originally deployed
- Accessibility standards.
- New Branding
An input to re-purposing could include surveying legacy eLearning course users to capture areas of refinement.
Increasingly, as content requires updating or a refresh there will need to be the need for an effective methodology to assure that lessons learnt whilst using content are not lost and the original messages can be enhanced.
